Configuring Data Partitioning Settings

Use the data partitioning settings to control how the Data Processor organizes generated feature files.

Step 1: Open the appsettings.json file​

  1. Navigate to the LicensePredictor directory.

    By default, this is located at: C:\Program Files\OpeniT\LicensePredictor

  2. Open the appsettings.json file.

Step 2: Configure the Data Partitioning Settings​

  1. Locate the DataProcessor section in the appsettings.json file.

  2. Configure the following settings:

    • PartitionColumn — Specify the source column to use as the primary partition field. The default value is "product".

    • PartitionProductFeature — Set to true to organize generated feature files under product/vendor-license groups. The default value is true.

      Set to false to disable product-feature partitioning and use PartitionColumn as the partition field.

      note

      Changing PartitionProductFeature changes the generated folder and selection structure.

  3. Save the changes.

Step 3: Restart the LicensePredictor Service​

  1. Open Task Manager.

  2. Under Services, restart the OpeniTLicensePredictor service.
