Verifying the Running Processes and Service

1. Open the Task Manager.

2. Under Processes, verify that OpeniT.Zero.Decisionmaker and OpeniT.Zero.Signal are running.

3. Go to Services.

4. Verify that the listed service or services are running.

   Service	Purpose
   OpeniTCLIMSClient	Runs OpeniT.Zero.DecisionMaker, which connects a managed license server host to the CLIMS server for monitoring and remote management.

Verifying the Created Directories and Files

Go to the installation directory, which is C:\Program Files\OpeniT\ZeroClient by default, and verify that the following directories and files exist:

• Configuration - contains JSON files used for configuration
• Log - contains log files for troubleshooting purposes
• Temp - contains folders to store temporary files
• Tool - contains binaries used by specific license managers
• Other DLL files

Unix

Verifying the Running Open iT Processes

Run the command according to the client OS to verify if the OpeniT.Zero.Decisionmaker and OpeniT.Zero.Signal processes are active.

OL/RHEL/CentOS 7 and later

systemctl status openit-clims-client

OL/RHEL/CentOS 6

service openit-clims-client status

Verifying the Created Directories and Files

Go to the installation directory, which is /opt/openit/zero by default, and verify that the following directories and files exist:

• Configuration - contains JSON files used for configuration
• Log - contains log files for troubleshooting purposes
• Temp - contains folders to store temporary files
• Tool - contains binaries used by specific license managers
• Other DLL files
