Setting Application Timeout Values
Configure timeout-per-app.map
to set the timeout value of applications.
Apply the configurations shown in the Open iT server.
Open
timeout-per-app.map
in the Configuration directory, which is by default inC:\Program Files\OpeniT\Core\Configuration
.Notice that it contains instructions on how to edit the file.
Use the following format to map URL or a web page title substring:
MAP: <application-timeout> <application-name>
Empty lines are allowed — any line beginning with # as the first non-white character is considered a comment. Globbing is also supported.
ExampleMAP: 30 Autodesk
This example means that Autodesk have 30 minutes timeout.
ExampleMAP: 10 LinkedIn*
This example means that all applications with the name starting with LinkedIn* have 10 minutes timeout.
Save the changes.
