Requirements
Base Enterprise technology platform. Open iT's integration to ServiceNow utilizes the components of the Base Enterprise platform for data collection. Make sure you have:
Access credentials to the Open iT Shared Software Assets Directory (SSAD). Coordinate with your Open iT Account Manager or with the Open iT Support team to get your access credentials. This will be used during Core Server installation.
You can manually set up and activate your SSAD access in the Core Server post-install.
Open iT Client(s) connected to the Open iT Core Server with configured LicenseAnalyzer

Guidelines
These are the recommended steps to deploy the system for the Open iT integration to ServiceNow.
Deploy and set up the Open iT LicenseAnalyzer (ServiceNow Store Application).
- Follow the installation and deployment instructions of the Open iT LicenseAnalyzer.
- Take note of the ServiceNow Instance URL and the credentials for authentication and communication.
Install the ServiceNow Adapter with an Open iT Analysis Server.
Follow the ServiceNow Adapter Post-Installation Configuration.

Optional Configuration
You may also use custom software information for data normalization instead of using the Open iT SSAD.
