# Application Launcher

Application Launcher is a web-based application that manages the applications under a specific project. Only users included in a project can successfully initiate or use particular applications for confidentiality and optimization purposes.

It has a server-client architecture that communicates to initiate an application successfully. The server holds all the project and application configurations while the client launches the application through web service.

The configured data from the Application Launcher server creates historical mapping files used for Open iT Core Server and Analysis Server data processing as scheduled. The mapping is applied to historical data to reflect project usages useful for project-based chargeback reporting.
