The Home tab is the landing page of the Core Server web interface. It shows the server information, notifications, client information, reports like Top 10 Features by Utilization, Latest Generated Report, and Canned Reports.

Parts Description
Navigation Bar This part shows the lists of connected Open iT services such as Analysis Server, CLIMS, Identity Server, Documentation, etc. Clicking on them will redirect users to the landing page of each respective service.
Server Information This part shows the version of the installed Open iT server, the available disk space of the host machine, and the number of running, queued, pending, and recently finished jobs. In Unix Core Server, this also indicates the inodes usage percentage.
Notifications This part shows the error and warning message and the encountered error or warning log file.
Clients Information This part lists the connected Open iT clients and shows the following information of each:
  • Hostname - the name of the client machine
  • Version - the version of the installed Open iT in the client
  • Last Seen - the last time the client sent information to the server

  • Users can search for a specific hostname and choose how many entries to show.

    The CLIENT_INFO_MAX_DAYS in openit.cfg specifies the threshold of inactive clients. Clients that reached the threshold are not included in the list.
    Top 10 Features by Utilization This part shows the top 10 most used features.
    Latest Generated Report This part shows the latest reports generated.
    Reports This part shows the list of available Analysis Server-like reports.
