# Mapping Autodesk Username to Email Address

The autodesk-user-name-to-email.map is used to map Autodesk application user name to the user's Autodesk account email address.

This is used to get the user's Autodesk product assignment when there is no Autodesk user profile collected from the Autodesk application usage from the workstations.

Apply the configurations shown in the Open iT server.

Open autodesk-user-name-to-email.map in the Configuration directory, which is by default in C:\Program Files\OpeniT\Core\Configuration.
Specify the username and email to map with the following syntax:
Mapping Syntax

MAP: user1@openit.com
user1
```
Empty lines are allowed — any line beginning with # as the first non-white character is considered a comment. Globbing is also supported.
Save the changes.
