# Renaming Autodesk Product ID

Configure autodesk-product-id-rename.map to rename Autodesk Product IDs.

Apply the configurations shown in the Open iT server.

Open autodesk-product-id-rename.map in the Configuration directory, which is by default C:\Program Files\OpeniT\Core\Configuration.
Specify the Autodesk product IDs to rename with the following syntax:
```
MAP: Autodesk-Product-Name
ProductID1
```
Empty lines are allowed — any line beginning with # as the first non-white character is considered a comment. Globbing is also supported.

By default, the most common Autodesk products are already included in this mapping file for renaming.
Example
```
MAP: Autodesk Civil 3D
*000

MAP: AutoCAD 
*001
```
This example renames all of the product IDs ending in 000 as Autodesk Civil 3D and product IDs ending in 001 as AutoCAD.
Save the changes.
