# Mapping Bentley Products

By default, the product is commonly formatted as [server_name];[license_manager]. In order to map the product into a realistic name and/or combine various products into a single product, the bentley-product-mapping file is provided.

Apply the configurations shown in the Open iT server.

Open bentley-product-mapping.map in the Configuration directory, which is by default in C:\Program Files\OpeniT\Core\Configuration.

Notice that it contains instructions on how to edit the file.
Specify the feature to rename with the following syntax:
```
MAP: [Combine_Product_name]   
[Bentley_Product1]
[Bentley_Product2]
```
Empty lines are allowed — any line beginning with # as the first non-white character is considered a comment. Globbing is also supported.
Example
```
MAP: ProjectWise Explorer Client 
ProjectWise Explorer Client V8i
ProjectWise Explorer Client 10.00.01.71
```
This example sets ProjectWise Explorer Client as the new product name for ProjectWise Explorer Client V8i and ProjectWise Explorer Client 10.00.01.71.
Save the changes.
