# Mapping Autodesk Email Address to Username

The autodesk-email-to-user-name.map and autodesk-email-to-user-name-ad.map are used to map Autodesk user's email address to the username in the organization. Configure this mapping file to be able to combine the LicPoll and Autodesk cloud data.

The autodesk-email-to-user-name-ad.map should be created from the Active Directory mapping source.

Apply the configurations shown in the Open iT server.

To update autodesk-email-to-user-name.map:

Open autodesk-email-to-user-name.map in the Configuration directory, which is by default in C:\Program Files\OpeniT\Core\Configuration.
Specify the username and email to map with the following syntax:
Mapping Syntax
```
MAP: user1
user1@openit.com
```
Empty lines are allowed — any line beginning with # as the first non-white character is considered a comment. Globbing is also supported.
Save the changes.
