# Max Concurrent - Distinct User

This report displays the total license usage for each business unit, such as department, division, cost center, and location. It includes the Elapsed Time, maximum used (Max in Use) licenses, and the count of distinct users. When multiple applications are selected in the report, it can be used to identify which applications are heavily utilized or underutilized by the group. If only one application is selected for the report, it can be used to identify which groups are power users of the application.

Follow these instructions to generate a report:

1. On the Open iT Reporting Services web portal home page, click on the LicenseAnalyzer Level 1 folder.

   This will redirect you to the list of LicenseAnalyzer Level 1 report templates.

2. Click the Max Concurrent - Distinct User report template.

3. Select the Application Type, Vendor License, Application Name, Year, Month, Week Day, Hour, and Aggregated by you want to include in the report.

   Parameter	Description
   Application Type	Use this to specify the name of grouping from which data are classified (the same listing found in the Application Hierarchy > Application Type).
   Vendor License	Use this to specify the name of an application in a vendor license. The table list seen in the Application Hierarchy > Vendor License is the same, only arranged alphabetically (not by application name).
   Application Name	Use this to specify the name of each application or program for a specific vendor license associated with an executable file. It is the same table listed in the Application Hierarchy > Name, only arranged alphabetically (not by vendor license).
   Year	Use this to specify the time-range for the report yearly such as 2020, 2021, 2022, etc.
   Month	Use this to specify the month of the report you want to view.
   Week Day	Use this to specify the time dimension daily. The week numbering is based on ISO 8601 (usually used by European countries).
   Hour	Use this to specify the hour of the day in a 24-hour format (0 to 23). Use the Time Hour to determine the busiest time of day for a particular month. All usage will be categorized based on the time of day (24-hour span) in which it occurs.
   Aggregated by	Use this to specify how the data will be aggregated based on specific groupings.

4. Click the View Report button in the top-right corner of the report viewer. Wait for the report to generate. This may take a few minutes, depending on the size of the data.
