# License Usage per User

This report comprehensively lists users with usage matching or exceeding the established threshold. It enables the company to identify users surpassing the expected concurrent usage readily and provides detailed information about user license checkout duration (Elapsed Time).

Follow these instructions to generate a report:

1. On the Open iT Reporting Services web portal home page, click on the LicenseAnalyzer Level 1 folder.

   This will redirect you to the list of LicenseAnalyzer Level 1 report templates.

2. Click the License Usage per User report template.

3. Select the Application Type, Vendor License, Application Name, Year, Month, Threshold [Max Used Licenses] >, and Resolution you want to include in the report.

   Parameter	Description
   Application Type	Use this to specify the name of grouping from which data are classified (the same listing found in the Application Hierarchy > Application Type).
   Vendor License	Use this to specify the name of an application in a vendor license. The table list seen in the Application Hierarchy > Vendor License is the same, only arranged alphabetically (not by application name).
   Application Name	Use this to specify the name of each application or program for a vendor license associated with an executable file.
   Year	Use this to specify the time-range for the report yearly such as 2020, 2021, 2022, etc.
   Month	Use this to specify the month of the report you want to view.
   Threshold [Max Used Licenses] >	Use this to specify the threshold for the maximum used licenses. The report will display any instances where users have exceeded the set license usage.
   Resolution	Use this to specify the resolution of the license usage report per user, either on a Monthly or Yearly basis.

4. Click the View Report button in the top-right corner of the report viewer. Wait for the report to generate. This may take a few minutes, depending on the size of the data.
