# DSLS License Usage per Licensing Model and Pricing Structure

This report provides a detailed breakdown of the license usage for DSLS applications, including information on the specific licensing models and pricing structures. It is designed to monitor and track application usage effectively, particularly when it exceeds predefined thresholds.

Follow these instructions to generate a report:

1. On the Open iT Reporting Services web portal home page, click on the LicenseAnalyzer Level 1 folder.

   This will redirect you to the list of LicenseAnalyzer Level 1 report templates.

2. Click the DSLS License Usage per Licensing Model and Pricing Structure report template.

3. Select the Vendor License, Application Name, Pricing Structure, Licensing Model, Licensing Model Status, Licensing Model Assignment, Year, Month, Threshold [Max Used Licenses], and Resolution you want to include in the report.

   Parameter	Description
   Vendor License	Use this to specify the name of an application in a vendor license. The table list seen in the Application Hierarchy > Vendor License is the same, only arranged alphabetically (not by application name).
   Application Name	Use this to specify the name of each application or program for a vendor license associated with an executable file.
   Pricing Structure	Use this to specify the agreed payment charging format between the company and the client.
   Licensing Model	Use this to specify the string identifier that categorizes the license model. NamedUsers ConcurrentUser Token
   Licensing Model Status	Use this to specify the status of the license model. active inactive
   Licensing Model Assignment	Use this to specify the string that identifies the status of the license status assignment. assigned unassigned
   Year	Use this to specify the time-range for the report yearly such as 2020, 2021, 2022, etc.
   Month	Use this to specify the month of the report you want to view.
   Threshold [Max Used Licenses]	Use this to specify the maximum number of licenses displayed in the report, limiting the results to the specified threshold.
   Resolution	Use this to specify the time resolution for the report, with possible values of Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly. It determines the frequency at which the data will be aggregated and displayed.

4. Click the View Report button in the top-right corner of the report viewer. Wait for the report to generate. This may take a few minutes, depending on the size of the data.
