# LicensePredictor

LicensePredictor is a forecasting tool designed to assist organizations by providing essential inputs on their projected software license usage over the next 18 months. It can also detect and alert users for anomalous values that are outside the forecasted range of values. LicensePredictor now includes support for LicenseAnalyzer Level 2 and 3.

The LicensePredictor is the Forecasting tab in the Core Server web interface. Check the link below if the Forecasting tab is not yet visible on the web interface:

# Prerequisite

• Valid license for LicensePredictor

  Please contact the Open iT Support Team support@openit.com to request a license key.

• At least 15 days worth of data. A year worth of data is advisable for a more reliable forecast.

• Data variation

• Microsoft Visual C++ 2015, 2017, or 2019 Redistributable

• Vendor License, Feature and Group names should not exceed the Windows 260-character limit

• Open iT data types 102 (Olap Total Use) and 70 (LicenseOptimizer Total Use)
