Autodesk Days Since Last Used - per User

This report provides an overview of Autodesk named-user subscription activity for the selected reporting period. It helps evaluate whether users require an Autodesk Named User subscription or may be better suited for Autodesk FLEX licensing.

The report displays each user’s team and assigned Autodesk package, along with the number of features used, days assigned, days used, total elapsed usage time, tokens consumed, and the number of days since the license was last used. Use this report to identify active and inactive users, compare subscription usage levels, and support license allocation and optimization decisions.

Make sure that the following Open iT Datatypes are present in the Core Server database and successfully loaded in Analysis Server SQL database.

Follow these instructions to generate a report:

1. On the Open iT Reporting Services web portal Home page, click on the LicenseAnalyzer Level 1 folder.

2. Click the Autodesk folder, then select Autodesk Days since Last Used - per User report template.

3. Select the Vendor License, Team, Package, Year, Month, Days Since Last Used, and Include Only Assigned you want to include in the report.

   Parameter	Description
   Vendor License	Use this to specify the name of the vendor license that hosts the Autodesk application.
   Team	Use this to specify the name of the team to which the users belong.
   Package	Use this to specify the Autodesk subscription package or product collection to include, such as Architecture, Engineering & Construction Collection.
   Year	Use this to specify the time-range for the report yearly such as 2020, 2021, 2022, etc.
   Month	Use this to specify the month of the report you want to view.
   Days Since Last Used >=	Use this to specify the minimum number of days since the most recent license use. For example, entering 10 includes users who have not used the license for at least 10 days.
   Include Only Assigned	Determines whether the report should include only users currently assigned to the selected Autodesk package: True — Includes only assigned users. False — May include both currently assigned and previously associated users, depending on the available usage data.

4. Click the View Report button in the top-right corner of the report viewer. Wait for the report to generate. This may take a few minutes, depending on the size of the data.

5. To view the usage report of a specific user, click the User name. The usage report displays the following components:

   • A table containing Package, Feature, Days Used, and Days Assigned.

   • A Daily Elapsed Time bar chart showing the user's daily usage per package, and a Monthly Token Usage bar chart showing the user's monthly token usage per package.

   • A table containing Team, Package, Feature, Date, Elapsed Time, and Token Used.

     Click the (+) expand button to view the specific dates when the user used the package.
